Before I upgraded to BIS 2.0 all of my pushed and read AOL mail was always waiting for me as new email when I logged onto my AOL account with my desktop.

Now it seems when I read my pushed mail on my Blackberry on my 7520 on BIS 2.0, my AOL mail moves to my OLD folder on AOL. It is not a big deal as it is still there but it did not do this before.

Must be a setting I am missing. Anyone?

You may have to turn off Wireless Reconcile. It is on blackberry.

Open Messages, select any date, click scroll wheel, then go to Options, Email Reconcilliation, keep pressing space bar until you see your AOL account address in Message Services field, scroll down to Wireless Reconcile and flip it to Off by pressing space bar.

See, it was easy.

I do not think so. Wireless Reconcile has nothing to do with my AOL account on my BIS.

See, not so easy

My thinking and maybe I am wrong is wireless reconcile is for your BIS account. I have been using BB for many years and used this wireless reconcile funtion and it has never moved my unread AOL messages from new to old.

I am not a Blackberry newbie.

I just want to know what is different that is causing my AOL to be "read" and moved to my AOL old folder. This has never happened before.

The difference is new feature of BIS 2.0. Before, your emails were marked read in blackberry inbox for BIS account (you are right here), now that blackberry inbox does not exist any more your blackberry goes straight to AOL and marks messages read in AOL inbox.

The only even remotely relevant setting that you can control in BIS 2.0 is wireless reconcile. Try to disable it and see if it helps. Sure tell here if it does not- but try it first.

it is wireless reconcile
w/ BIS 2.0 IMAP accounts (such as AOL) will be marked as read/unread, emails sent from the handheld will show up in the setn items folder (if this is enabled) in the IMAP account and emails deleted from the handheld will be deleted from the IMAP account

same goes for Exchange acoxxxxs and Domino accounts using mail connector - and Yahoo! accounts

Hope this helps
