I'm a new user with RIM 6710 serie, and this is my first post.
I have just bought a rim 6710 and there is always a requested password on the main screen ( not PIN code ).
How can find or erease this code to start again with a new code and what is excatly this code ?

hey. it sounds like the previous owner put a password on the device so that no one else can access the information.
if you have the password you can unlock it

if you dont, type in random words 10 times so that the device will wipe itself.

you should then be able to activate it to yourself

You will need to re-install the software on your device. Also ask the person who set the password, what the password is!

In fact, it was very easy. (but not for me... )
the passeword was simply " password".
This RIM is new, so it was the code of packaging.
