is it me or is GMAIL's all around service (chat, search, email) the best thing out there?

I have just started playing with it the last few days and now with the Google Talk app for the BB, it's great..

My favorite part is the archived emails instead of deleting or folders.

YES!

My problem is, I have my own domain and hosted email on that domain, I wish I could use Gmail's service while using my domains emails.

You might actually be able to use gmail with a hosted domain. They host the mail and you just keep the rest. VERY COOL STUFF!!!

The system won't let me post the domain BUT try www google com / hosted

Well, one can only hope that they take as long as possible when processing your request for hosting.

Could you not just have all your domain email forwarded by your host to a gmail account and setup filters to add lables like webmaster to all email to webmaster@...

Still waiting on google to build in an calendar/contact/mail sync system to sync ota with BB.

I just started using Google's Calendar and it seems pretty cool. I like it better than Outlook 2003. Albeit, I didn't give Outlook 2003 much of a chance. I can't wait for Google to integrate the Calendar so we can sync with Palm OS and BB devices.

I just got accepted into their beta program, I have everything setup and it works like a charm, much faster and cleaner than my previous host..
