I am trying to find out if it is possible to erase all email at once on the blackberrys. I have an absoulte ton and I would hate to have to delete one by one.

You can use the delete prior function. Instead of highlighting an individual email, highlight the line with the date. Press the scroll wheel and select Delete Prior. When deleting messages using this method the deletions are NOT synced back to your mail client.

Yes, there are a couple of ways, one using the DM backup/restore feature Advanced option. Setting the Clear Address Book option (I think that's how it's worded). The other is to highlight the first email in the message list you want to delete, then press and hold the ALT key while rolling the track wheel down to the last. The select delete messages from the menu.

Go into Messages and make sure you're at the top of the list (hit 'T' if you have a full qwerty keyboard, or ER if you have a 71xx device). Make sure the date separater is highlighted, click the wheel, and then click Delete Prior. This will delete from your device only, and not sync back to your email client.
