Default Houston Traffic Map

Please Login to Remove!

For anyone that lives in Houston (or will be traveling here) this is a must have webpage to save on your BB. I have this web page saved and check it frequently through the day as I travel throughout the city ie to work, home, appointments, luncheons, etc.

This website is provided by the Houston Transtar organization and is real-time:

http://traffic.houstontranstar.org/mobile/

Cheers!

For 8700's and high-res devices I recommend bookmarking ths URL http://traffic.houstontranstar.org/d...ayer_speed.gif

Fol older, lower-res devices you can bookmark this version http://traffic.houstontranstar.org/d...ayer_speed.gif

...and if you set the Internet Browser's home page to the traffic map, set it to go to it's home page when opened, and set the center convenience key to Internet Browser you effectively get one-button access to traffic conditions.

Are there similar services for other cities? If anyone knows of a similar service for the mid-atlantic states that would be great. I have Sirius radio now and I can get city-specific traffic and weather for my whole territory every 4 minutes but "one touch" would be great.
