Default BES or BIE

Please Login to Remove!

Im trying to set up my blackberry so i will be able to check my yahoo and hotmail email accounts which choice do i need to choose on setup when installing the installation CD on my computer the Blackberry Enterprise Server or the Blackberry Internet Email? thanks.

im assuming thats the same as blackberry internet email?

Yes, but if your using BIS you dont need any software installed.

how would i use BIS instead of BIE , sorry this is my 1st BB!

BIS is the same as BIE - BIE is the way T-Mobile tends to refer to it

FYI if your carrier is T-Mobile you won't be able to get your hotmail account on your BlackBerry - they don't allow it

I'm with sprint i use my yahoo mail acct more but my hotmail acct is used for more serious stuff thanks.
