I'm a BlackBerry user on the Rogers network in Canada and I often use the web interface at rogers.com slash bwc to check my messages. Since yesterday, however, when I log in there (or bis dot na dot blackberry dot com, which is what that address resolves to), it goes straight to the US T-Mobile site!

It's probably not a BlackBerry-related issue, but does anyone know what might be causing this? Is it adware picking up on the mention of 'BlackBerry' somewhere and thinking I'm in the US and looking to buy a BlackBerry?

No, it's likely not adware. A thread started earlier today indicates that Rogers is about to upgrade their BIS to 2.0. Which means that you need to find another way to check your e-mail. BIS 2.0 does not have an inbox.

I have had no issues logging onto the Rogers BIS site at all.

Tried http://www.rogers.com/bwc on my computer and it directs to Rogers blackberry Web page.

Which means no web-based way of checking BB e-mail? (I like being able to save attached files to a desktop PC).

Rogers tech support didn't mention anything about BIS 2.0 either.

I still don't understand why I would get redirected to T-Mobile, of all places. Could there be a setting configured somewhere indicating that I'm supposedly a US-based user or a T-Mobile subscriber?

The other thing that makes me think it's adware is that it's only happening on my PC at work - not on my co-workers' PCs, not on my PC at home.

have you tried clearing your IE cache?

Yes. Many, many times.

I've run several spyware detection apps (Spybot, Ad-Aware, Spyware Doctor, SpySubtract, Spy Sweeper, CWShredder) over and over and nothing significant is turning up.

On the other hand, I'm inclined to think it might not be adware, if only because my PC is not behaving oddly otherwise - I'm not being redirected in any other way, my search results are not being hijacked, etc.
