Question Replacement Blackberry on Insurance - will it be okay? vodafone -> T-mobile UK

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all

I've just returned from my holiday after having a great time, but unfortunately my 7290 had an accident, it got splashed (literally - just splashed) by sea water and now the keyboard doesnt work at all.

I have "all risk" on my home insurance, so the blackberry is covered and I've been on to the insurance company, who have sent out for me today a brand new blackberry 8700v from Vodafone UK as T-Mobile don't supply blackberrys to the insurance company. They've also arranged for it to be unlocked for me so I can continue to use my contract t-mobile UK SIM.

My question is though will it work okay when I enter the PIN and IMEI number onto the instantemail.t-mobile.co.uk BIS? It's completely brand new, but do vodafone pre-register it on their BIS?

I'm a little worried about this? Do I need to be?

Any advice will be greatfully received.

Cheers

Joe
