I am using a BlackBerry 7290, but have been unaware that the Wireless Calendar Synchronization has been Disabled since the first Synchronization.

So basically, all of my calendar appointments were on my handheld and have unknowingly not been synchronised with my firms Exchange server.

In an attempt to Enable the Wireless Calendar, I had a "dumb" moment and thought I would 'Wipe Handheld' to clear any settings stuck from the first attempt.

I do not have a backup of my databases on any PC.
Is there any way I can restore all of my calendar appointments from my device? Does anybody know of any programs that would allow me to do this??

I would greatly appreciate any help whatsoever.

I fear not. To have this possible would compromise 'wipe handheld' as an intended security feature.

No programs to be able to read recently formatted data from the device?

Just like you would be able to off of an IDE Hard Drive or even a Flash Memory Card?

I think they thought of that. Does an implicit "secure delete" (overwriting your data), as far as I know. It's not a 'format'. I'm not trying to be unhelpful - just stating the way it is, unless someone knows better...

"Wipe handheld" is a feature intended to stop anyone getting at your data - when a BB is lost or stolen this can even be triggered over the air from a BES so your 'corporate secrets' don't get into the wrong the hands. This would be pointless if there was any kind of back-door to get the data back. RIM *may* have one (for law enforcement use?), but you'd probably have to go to a court to get them to use it, even if it did/does exist.
