Default BB automatically changes from address?

Please Login to Remove!

So i noticed the other day that the blackberry changes the "from" address depending on who the the email is addressed to. What criteria decides which email address it sends from. For example i just composed an email and sent it and then realized that i may have sent it from the wrong address and double checked. It sent from the right one even though its not my default. So i tested a few contacts and they change depending on who i'm sending it to.

Perhaps I'm missing something.

I have noticed that as well, and I don't have a clue why it does that either.

I believe this is the way the BB has always worked. If I recall correctly, the BB remembers which account was used to email each contact and uses that as a default for the contact. You actually have to swiitch it to remove that contact default.

If we compose from messages folder it changes the from address. To be safe I use the respective inbox to send email.

Definitely not for multiple BIS From addresses. That is a new feature with BIS 2.0 and I for one still don't have it.
As for BIS vs BES email addresses (Web Client vs Desktop), that system does go way back.
