I'd like (when my BB is in the holster) to have the LED light flash when I have a message. Currently, when my BB is in the holster my phone will ring, however when a message is left, it vibrates 2 times and the LED does not flash. Essentially I'd like it to stop vibrating when a message is left and instead just have the LED flash. I've gone into my profile and adjusted the "In holster" option as follows: Repeat Notification - LED flashing however I can't seem to achieve my goal. I'm sure I'm missing something obvious.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

You can turn the vibration off by going to your Sound Profiles and change the Profile to Quiet.

Set as follows:

In Holster: Tone
Volume: Mute
Repeat Notification: LED Flashing

Tune: Blackberry 3
Volume: High
Number of Beeps: 3
Repeat Notification: LED Flashing

Again the issue is that when the BB is in the holster and I get voicemail, it will vibrate to let me know there is a message. I would like it to not vibrate, but rather flash the LED light.

I want the LED to flash when I have a message waiting and I've currently got the Repeat Notification set to LED Flashing. I don't want it to vibrate, so I've got the in holster setting to "Tone". I'm not sure that I understand what is wrong with this setting.

Interestingly, it works perfectly when the BB is not in the Holster. When a message is left, there is no vibration and the LED flashes until the message is picked up. I just can't seem to accomplish the same when the BB is in the holster.

7100i. I have the opposite problem. I would like the voicemail notification to periodically beep or vibrate after the 3 ring notifications. I can't seem to make it work. Any ideas

Try changing the SMS Setting to these. The VM notification uses the the Voice Control Channel, as does SMS to send Voice Mail notification signals.
