I have a remote user that just got a new 7250 from Verizon and am trying to get setup. But he says there is no Enterprise Activation icon on the screen. Is there a way to get it to show up or some other way to to Enterprise Activation? All of our other Balckberry's had the icon.
If the BlackBerry is not setup for BES with the carrier then udontknowjack is correct you will not be able to see the EA icon. If you want to get it back you can delete all of the service books, and it should come back. It is remove when you receive the service books from the register now on the HH.
Enterprise Activation is for handhelds app ver 4.0+. If the app version is less than this you have to either upgrade the handheld app ver or activate over the wire connected to the BES. You can check this by going in to Options -> About or by holding down alt + cap + H at the home screen. If app version is less than 4.0 I would suggest an upgrade.
If the handheld is running 4.0 you should see it under Options -> Enterprise Activation. 4.1 should be Options -> Advanced Options -> Enterprise activation. If you do not have this service it likely means the handheld is only provisioned for BIS and not BES. Contact your wireless provider. Depending on who that is they may charge extra for the BES services.
