Default Outlook 2003 Not Redirecting

Please Login to Remove!

I set up the rules in my corporate email (Outlook 2003) to redirect my emails to my blackberry (username@tmo.blackberry.net). It didn't work, meaning it wasn't sending out any email to my BB.

I then tried forwarding, instead of redirecting. Still, it didn't work.

I followed the instruction for setting up the rules. Why can't I get this to send mails to my BB. I'm on BIS, by the way. Help, please.

Does your corporate server have policies about forwarding to external email addresses with rules? Mine does, the only way we can forward email is individually. Alot of companies have implemented this.

Hope this helps

It depends on what type of company and who's in charge.

Yeah, I second that. I tried to set mine up for work, and our exchange prevents any forwarding. You need to try either Desktop redirector or email connector depending on your providers BIS version.

Be warned though, both have been painful.

Default Desktp redirector

Hi,

I installed the desktop redirector and configured it. My outlook client is Outlook 2002.

The emails are not getting redirected/forwarded. Also when I compose an email on the blackberry this email is not getting sent. Everything else other than email gets synchronized.

On the outlook the profile points to my account at gmail. So when I receive an email I expect it to get forwarded to the bb. I do not have a data plan from t-mobile, it's a regular voice plan.

I have just bought my new 8700g and I was trying out stuff...

Is there something I am missing here?

Thanks

a) you don't have a data plan - no plan = no email
b) redirector is for Exchange accounts only - Gmail is POP3
