Default PIN Messages

Does PIN messages count as text messages, and thus get charged by my service provided (or count against my monthly SMS limit)?

Does PIN messages work internationally? Say, I'm travelling in Europe or Asia, can I still send and receive PIN messages from the U.S.? How about people I know in another country using a different service provider, can I send and receive PINs to/from them?

Or can I only send PINs to BBs using the same service providers (I'm with T-Mobile)?

Sorry, I'm very new to BB. Thanks.

PIN is universal, you can send one to any BlackBerry user anywhere, provided they have service. PIN messages are billed as data.

So if I have unlimited email and internet, I will not be charged extra? That's data, right?

If traveling internationally, you will be charged what ever your provider charges for international data roaming.
