Default GPS Tracking with Blackberry?

Please Login to Remove!

This is my first post on this forum...

Does anyone know of any software that will interface a GPS (NMEA data or otherwise) to a Blackberry (8700) and then send the latitude and longitude to the web. There is software that will plot and track a user's position. I'm looking for an APRS replacement.

My goal is to connect a Garmin GPS to a Blackberry and have the position stored (ftp or some other means) so that my better half can track my bicycle ride across Iowa in late July.

I have a 2 meter portable Ham radio that will transmit the data, but I thought that the Blackberry 8700G (T-Mobile with unlimited data package) might be a more reliable method.

Any idea? Thanks for your help.

Bob
