Default Possible to set up Outlook Express with Blackberry email address?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi guys,
I am new on the blackberry network and I know I will probably take some heat for this posting.

I was just wondering what ways I could enable Outlook with my Blackberry Service Provider email (me@blackberry.rogers.com). I am currently with Rogers Wireless. And am sick of only writing / viewing emails on the unit.

Any help would be appreciated.

thanks!

Lewis

Wirelessly posted (Cingular-Blue 7290: BlackBerry7290/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/101)

You would be better off using gmail or other local isp provided email address and have that forwarded (or mailbox delivery) to your BlackBerry address.

Then you will get it immediately on your BlackBerry and poll from gmail or isp using pop3.

Not too many folks give out their real BlackBerry address due to spam problems. If you are overwhelmed by spam, it's easier to get a new gmail or isp address, than a new BlackBerry address.

I don't think it is possible. You can only get your blackberry email on your blackberry and not in a mail client. I haven't heard of any way of doing it.

Yes I am trying to have Outlook work as my Blackberry Webclient but on my computer. So I can see copies of all my emails that were sent to my Blackberry on my desktop. As well as write emails from my desktop (outlook) and have it come from my Blackberry address. I hope this clarifies the question.

Thanks

d'oeth - i mis-read your question
sorry about that

no way to do what you want i'm afraid (BIS account's don't have incoming mail servers so can't add it to yuor Outlook)

If you want a copy of your sent email set up your Auto-BCC to send the email to your Outlook address
