I have a 7290. I want to be able to get my attachments from my BB to a notebook that is not connnnected to the internet. Can attachments be "sent" to a PC that isn't online?

No. It is my understanding that the attachments are converted to a form of XML when transferred to the blackberry. So even if you could someonhow get them off the handhend, the files wouldn't be of much use.

If that is your main use you might consider a different type of PDA (Palm or Windows powered one) or find a way to gain internet access with a notebook PC and natively fetch your email that way.

Sorry.

Thanks.

It seemed like a logical task, I guess I should have done more homework before buying a BB.
