Default Multiple contact lists?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi -
I use a BES for connection to my work Exchange email, and BIS for my personal accounts. I'd like to have multiple contact lists on my BB - one that corresponds to my work contacts, and the other that are my personal contacts that i don't want to put on my work computer. Is that possible?

Thanks
Doug

I haven't seen a way it could be done especially if you want to run wireless reconcile on your blackberry with contacts

First you will need to disable wireless sync for contact only, then perform a cradled sync to get your private contacts on. (bis).

you can then set up a one way sync on the bes server so that it only syncs from outlook contacts to your device. Any private contacts you add to the device are then not synced back to outlook.

from the BES select the user > Properties > Pim Sync > Address book > Unidirectional Server to handheld ( server wins).

Another way might be to store one list on your SIM card abd one on the Berry--

Thanks for this tip, it pointed me in the right direction. The owner of the company likes to keep his Blackberry address separate from his usual email address, yet he needs his calendar and address book from his usual, main email account. I was looking for a utility to sync between mailboxes so he could be handled wirelessly, but he doesn't mind manual sync. Therefore I disabled the calendar wireless sync on the BB itself, and disabled address book sync on the BES as per your instruction above.
