Default BIS 2.0 - web client vs. mycingular.blackberry.net

Please Login to Remove!

i have my gmail forwarding to my mycingular.blackberry.net address and had the "sent from" address (in BIS 1.8) set to my gmail address. when i sent an email it didn't set the "reply-to" field... it actually spoofed itself as if i was actually sending from my gmail. the only way to actually tell that i wasn't is if you actually looked at the full email headers and saw blackberry's smtp server passing on the message.

now with BIS 2.0 instead of just spoofing the 'from' address, in addition it sets the 'reply-to' as well.. which IMO is unecessary and silly. when composing a new message if i choose to send using 'web client' it doesn't do the 'reply-to' field... however if i choose either of the two accounts i have set up in BIS (mycingular.blackberry.net (which is set to appear as my gmail address) or my work mail), it does sets that stupid 'reply-to' field... is there any way to disable this or possibly have cingular turn it off on my account?

w/ BIS 2.0 the reply to address spoofs your sent from and reply address - so that any replies go to the address you want - in fact the headers show only the address you set it to - not your BIS
only way to disable this is not to set it up - but then you'll send using your BIS address instead of your Gmail

FYI - you soon won't be able to send using the web client [cmime] as it's for 1.8 only
