Hello,

Is there a way to turn off the email sent confirmation (The one with the check mark next to it) you get after sending a new email or after reply to one within the berry mail app? I have been over the options and cannot seem to find a way.

In Messages, trackwheel->Options show sent email.

My 7290 does not have "Hide Sent Messages" as an option. Any advice for me?

I know and I am sure it was probably in the FAQ's somewhere....but I had to find out quickly for a VIP and was busy with other task's as well....LOL And i will forgive you for being a Jet fan.....Go Phin's......

since where on this topic, does this take up memory space on your device? normally i will spend atleast 2mins deleting all the sent messages every morning. but if u hide them that can take up space right? i hope i'm wrong.

DISCLAIMER: I haven't tried this, but I think it will work!

I think if you view your Sent folder and you're at the top of the list, if you Delete Prior, it will delete only those emails in view (i.e. your Sent emails). You could also set up a filter to find only sent items, and assign it to an [Alt] key combination. There are some predefined searches on my Blackberry (Incoming, Outgoing, Phone Calls, SMS Messages, Voicemail Messages) that might also work.

That said, there's one other thing. If you're on a 4x BES and using 4x firmware, items sent with Outlook show up on your Blackberry. However, they only have the header info (To, CC, Subject, Date). You can retrieve the full content of these messages using MORE ALL, but by default they take up negligible space. I'd also guess that when you send an email from your Blackberry, you're not typing out War and Peace, so they're not taking up much space either. The only messages you send from your Blackberry that might take up some space are replies on never ending email threads or forwarding a message with an attachment.
