DISCLAIMER: I haven't tried this, but I think it will work!
I think if you view your Sent folder and you're at the top of the list, if you
Delete Prior, it will delete only those emails in view (i.e. your Sent emails). You could also set up a filter to find only sent items, and assign it to an [Alt] key combination. There are some predefined searches on my Blackberry (Incoming, Outgoing, Phone Calls, SMS Messages, Voicemail Messages) that might also work.
That said, there's one other thing. If you're on a 4x BES and using 4x firmware, items sent with Outlook show up on your Blackberry. However, they only have the header info (To, CC, Subject, Date). You can retrieve the full content of these messages using MORE ALL, but by default they take up negligible space. I'd also guess that when you send an email from your Blackberry, you're not typing out War and Peace, so they're not taking up much space either. The only messages you send from your Blackberry that might take up some space are replies on never ending email threads or forwarding a message with an attachment.
