If your company has a corporate rate, check with them. They may have arrangements with Cingular to migrate your number to the BB account without any penalty charges to your account.
My company has such arrangements not only with Cingular but also with t-Mobile and Sprint/Nextel, but we have over 35,000 employees nationally and over 6,000 Blackberry users and almost as many Good users, so there's a pretty strong incentive for the cell companies to "give" us benefits that don't actually cost them anything!
