Hi,

Cingular recently swapped out my Blackberry 8700C under warranty. They had previously unlocked the old one. I've been trying desperately to get an unlock code for this phone (without it, I'm dead in the water).

The Customer Service people have been very polite, but have been unable to get a code. One woman tried to go the extra mile by putting me on hold and calling the "Technical Services Group" (or something like that), who she says told her that because it's a warranty replacement, they don't have the code yet. She said she's never seen a problem like this and has given many people unlock codes.

Your unlock issue has been discussed to death, in no less than 3426 posts.

i had a similar incident with by 7100g they could not get an unlock code for me they sent me a replacement and they gave me the unlock code after i received it, so let them send you another one sometimes you have to ask for a manager. it worked for me
