Unhappy Is it possible to get the web without being on the BB service with CIngular?

Please Login to Remove!

I just recently bought this phone thru Cingular without any blackberry data plans. I currently have 5mb of data a month to use but would like to know if I can still get on without having BB service? I have an 8700c

No. You must have a BlackBerry Data Plan to use the web on a BlackBerry.

No, end of story. No if and or buts about it. No BlackBerry Data Plan no data. Next time do your homework as the device may not meet your needs...

Just call Cingular and get the Personal BIS Unlimited Data. It's now $29.99 a month with qualified voice plans of $34.99 or higher. I also have a text package on top of that.
It's a bit more money, but worth every penny.
If you don't want to pay the extra and don't need the push e-mail, take the Blackberry back and buy a different device.

Thank you. Come again.
