Default activating a bb

ok so i traded my sidekick 2 for a bb 7100i. and i went to add the unlimated plan and the pin is registered or something. the guy i got it from his phone isnt on beacuse i cant alert him. is there anyway i could get the pin unregistered or something.

I had the same situation with my first BlackBerry, I just called Cingular and they put me on a three way call with RIM and they got it cleared up. I would suggest calling Nextel.

i may call them back now. and see if i can do that.
