Hi,
See that my private mail, professional mail and sms-message are all received in one inbox. Can I separate them automaticaly in different folders ?
Is there a possibility not to accept professional email during holidays ?
Thanks,
frank

bb 7290. But we will investigate other bb's also. Just testing the bb's and one of the disadvantage is that all the mails are coming in one box.
With eq. sonyericisson or nokia you can separte serveral mailaddresses.
No clue of the os, it running on the provider server.

thanks!

Any solution to this? I have an 8700, OS 4.1, and I don't want all my mail and SMS in the same message box.

I've used Treo (Palm) and HTC Wizard (MS Mobile) previously and mail and sms went to individual folders. With BB's rep as an e-mail tool, I'm surprised they can't do the same.

Thanks

I have seperate icons for my blackberry account and gmail.
The 'Messages' icon by default shows all of them including SMS, but I can click the wheel, choose 'View Folder', and view SMS, Browser messages, etc all seperately.

Have you tried the new OS's available. Some of them offer different icons for SMS and Emails, thus seperating them.

IF your currently not running 4.1 OS, upgrade your bb OS(Operating System) to 4.1. The latest/current OS has diffrent folders for diffrent emails.

to check what OS version your running go to options/about on your bb.
let us know what your carrier you have, so that we can give you the link where to download the operating system.

Default The way I do it.

I have 3 icons on my Screen. One for each individual e-mail. With BIS Server 2.0, it automatically sorts those to you. For each e-mail you add to the server it will send you a link (service book) for each one. Mmm.. not sure how to screen shot, but this is done on my 8700c.

See what you make of it.
