Default How Much?

Does anyone know how much it cost to upgrade to 8700c from Cingular without renewing my contract?

I got my 7290 back in November so I'm still stuck in my contract. I would rather spend money buying it new from Cingular rather than Ebay just because I would still get a 1 year warranty, just in case anything weird happens.

Or maybe I should wait for a 8710 or something to come out, who knows how long that will take.

Full retail price. You would be better to check the BST section here at BBF.

You can always try calling them and seeing if they offer any deals. Usually they wont and also consider selling your old device to make up for the cost of the new one.

I got my 7130c two weeks ago only being 1 year into my contract, but they sold it to me for the cheaper price and waived the stupid upgrade rule. I had to re-up for another 2 years, but at least they didn't make me pay full retail price for the phone. This was at a Cingular store in Los Angeles, but I went to a few places before I finally found someone who would actually do it. I think the 8700c is $349 or $399 retail.

I very much doubt that, I remember most of us who bought it right when it came out, paid about 400.00 for it retail. I was checking if the price has dropped since then. That price range is a Pocket PC Retail price, they are always significantly more expensive than the Berrys.

ok... so i looked at a site that was a bit overpriced... my bad

http://www.buyersedge.com/Product/pr...eView=1&iDZ=11

did find this though
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...lance&n=301185

I recant my statement above... after a little better browsing... the general concensus is $349.99-$499.99
