Hi newbie here (1 day old). I have all my contact on SIM phone book. Is it possible to transfer or copy all the entries into the phonebook at one go instead of individually? Look forward to any advice.
If you're other SIM is in a Nextel phone you have the feature of adding address book for $5 a month and then transferring all your contacts into a blackberry file which you can then sync with the bb when its connected to the comp....so:
You need a Nextel phone with an active plan (I think Sprint may also offer the same feature)
Call them and ask to add the Address Book feature.
Log into your Nextel account online.
Backup your address book to a blackberry file (thats what they call it)
And then use the Intellisync feature to transfer the contacts to your bb.
Worked for me and saved me tons of time.
Once you're done, cancel the service. I think it was worth five bucks! Plus, now I also have a copy of all my contacts on my computer in case one of my phones or such get lost. I also saved it as an excel file too.
However, this post will be pointless if you dont have a nextel or sprint phone....lol.

Hey NJ, have you ever tried using a USB SIM Card reader and then transferring from there to the bb? I think that may work too....any suggestions would be great for future and other peoples....
Thanks!

OK, I found out how to do it....
Go to phone address book, open SIM address book, click trackwheel, there's an option to copy all to phonebook.
Thank you for everybody's participation
