Default Blackberry deleting my IMAP messages??

Please Login to Remove!

I have an IMAP account connected to my Blackberry (8700c using tmo) using BIS. Since I've had my bb on three occasions my imap mailbox has been completely purged of all messages - including important emails from years ago.

Today the same thing happened - my imap mailbox has been emptied - including messages that are still on my blackberry!

Anyone have any idea what's going on here?

Is the email account that's configured in the BIS set for IMAP? Some IMAP servers do POP & IMAP.
