Default BB signal strength compared to other phones

Please Login to Remove!

I just received my first BlackBerry (7230) and it holds a call better than any other phone I have had on T-Mobile.

I have used T-Mobile for a few years now and used no less than 4 different phones on my drive home from work. There is one place that every single phone has always dropped my call. Last night I happened to be on the phone on my BB7230 and, amazingly, I made it all the way home without dropping or even either side missing part of the conversation.

Has anyone else had a similar experience?

Yup the BB 7100 is a solid one, havn't had probs with quality, usually it's the other side or if i am in an area where there is a lot of EMI.

I have compared the signals on the BB7250 to the LG4500 side by side and the BB7250 often shows one more bar of signal. BTW the 4500 is no slouch on reception if that gives you any clue as to how good the 7250 seems to be.
