Funny - we T-Mo folks thought it was us and the Cingular folks think it's them.

I am on a 8700g in Northern Colorado on T-Mo's network. I have a tower 100 yards from my house and even get service in my basement... I have my Gmail (personal) email set to FWD to my @tmo.bb.net address and the BIS polls my work Exchange account using OWA (I've got my priorities straight, right?).

I would agree that at least the times of the delays are heavy email times. I get instantaneous email forwarding all weekend but as soon as it's Monday, the delays start. I've never had several hours, but I have had close to an hour. I've also not experienced any email that gets completely dropped, just various delays... As I'm typing this, my 'berry just blipped with an email sent from TMo support 26 minutes ago.

Also - according to this post there are in fact known issues and it's not us!

I wonder if the Yahoo integration on the BIS 2.0 may be the culprit? I noticed that my yahoo.com email account, setup on Verizon's BIS, no longer sends email in real time. I get those emails on the standard 15-minute poll.

My observations may be justified as all email sent to the hosted mailbox (vzw.blackberry.net) has been delivered without delays since Thursday last week. Maybe someone on T-Mo can check to see if the Yahoo email is still being delivered in real time?

My Yahoo integration still delivers emails in real time. Just sent myself email from blackberry to Yahoo, came back to blackberry in under one minute.

Interesting.

Earlier when I tried this (email to yahoo acct) it took 20 minutes to receive it. Now I'm getting delays again...... asked RIM to re-open my month old case.
