Just got off the phone with T-Mobile. They tell me that RIM had a known problem starting yesterday which they believe will be fixed this afternoon.

I'm having issues, as well. Haven't gotten a message since 12:19 via Yahoo! (BIS). I have 5 emails sitting in my Yahoo! that haven't been pushed to my TMO 8700 yet. Currently in NYC...I pushed service books, but they haven't even come across yet!

Same experience here as FightingDevil. Since I called, the situation has deteriorated further, not improved. Where there was once a 30-120 minute delay, now nothing is going through at all. Kwality service.

Also noticed something I had not seen before.

For those addresses configured on the BIS, mail reconcilation is not working. Deleted messages (when they come in) on the BB and mailbox are not deleted on the mail server. I can see the BIS accessing the mail server normally, but not deleting messages.

I've been having intermittent outages since this afternoon with some things working and some not... I still can't get email forwarded from Gmail, but can send mail (most of the time) and now can use BB Messenger.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/2.0 (compatible; MSIE 3.02; Windows CE; PPC; 240x320) BlackBerry8700/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102)

I got 5 out of 6 service books pushed at 4;30, and the 6th an hour later. I haven't received any email since then, so I don't know what the current status is. Hopefully this is all said and down for this particular outage...until the next one!

Now I can't send again... This is quite frustrating... But BB Messenger and Internet is working...

EDIT: Now I can send and receive but it's on a 20-minute delay...

I have been having ridiculous email problems on TMO in NYC today (8700). I was on the phone with TMO twice and they could figure nothing out, now I have been on hold with RIM, since they kicked me up to them, for the past 45 minutes.

Jeez - put in a good word for me, too!! ;) I've been on hold for 20 minutes with T-Mobile because they're experiencing a "higher than average volume of calls" or some such thing. It's good to see that it isn't just me, though. For a while I thought it was my device!!

I give up with RIM. I was on hold for over 1 hour. Maybe this will work itself out overnight or something, I can't stay up any longer. Basically I am having 20-40 minute delays in receiving emails, and the emails that I do send take about the same amount of time to arrive. 2 calls with TMO solved nothing. I hope the network and my bb make nice overnight and this is all solved tomorrow. I am going out of town and was hoping NOT to drag the laptop.
