I want to add PIN numbers in Outlook for both management and syncing. The BlackBerry Desktop 4.1 field mapping shows none. How to create and sync a PIN data field?

Go to the All Fields tab in outlook, select contact fields from pull down menu and it should be User field 1.

Everytime I sync with outlook my Direct Connect number seems off so when someone connects with me it has no name.

Do all the User slots correspond to something different on each carrier?

Check the field mapping on the desktop manager sync advanced options. Don't know exactly how to get there right now, I'm not on my PC.

Hey Adam, are you saying you can sync all your PIM messages with your Outlook? I thought that wasnt possible unless you backup the handheld....can you let me know?...Thanks. Im on t-mo BIS 8700g.

I believe Adam is asking which field in Outlook contains the BlackBerry PIN for a contact. It has nothing to do with syncing PIN messages. You can enter the PIN in Outlook and sync the contact record (with the PIN) that way...
