Default Problems getting whole e-mail address...

Please Login to Remove!

I've got a new 8700g. When I get a long e-mail message and try to get the whole thing, I get an error message telling me the service book is not installed to get the whole message.
Not sure what do, I searched but couldn't find anything...
Thanks in advance!

Regards,
Tom

P.S. Just looked at my title.. not sure why I have the word address in there... oh well, sorry about that.
Tom

Hmm.. to tell the the truth I'm not sure.. I'm using T-mobile. I've deleted my service books and reinstalled them, wiped the machine, everything I can think of. But as far as it still being on the server (I'm using [email address]) I'm not sure...

Anyone know? I'm new to T-mo from Vzw.

Thanks again!
Tom

so the email was sent to your [email address] address? how long ago? i belive it's after about 30 days it's gone from server (not 100% sure on that)

if it's an email you got from another address..like say Gmail..then the email needs to still be in the inbox for that address. if you've moved it from the inbox to another folder or deleted it then your out of luck since the BlackBerry won't be able to find the message to download more of it

hope this helps/makes sense

I am not sure about the folder thing. I understand the delete statement, but when I get my gmail fowarded to my cingular email address, it goes into the archive on my gmail account, but I am still able to get it all.

But with BIS 2.0, if it is more than 30 days old, it will be deleted from the server. That is really weird that it is giving you that error though. Have you tried to call TMob on it?

Liv - forwarding is differnet - it'll keep a copy on the BIS server wether your in 2.0 or not

but if the email is grabbed using POP access (or IMAP etc) in 2.0 and the message is removed from the inbox then there's nothing there for BIS to download more from

w/ 1.8 the message would stay in the BIS inbox itself and you wouldn't have to worry about it staying in the inbox on the server
