Default Cingular BBCNUNL

Please Login to Remove!

I just added a blackberry only line to my cingular account. I wanted unlimited data plan to include email, browsing, etc etc.

I have not receive my first bill, but BBCNUNL $49.99 shows up online.

A few questions:
Will I be charged for surfing the web?
Will I be charged for using gtalk?

I read through this forum for the last 2 hours and I see a lot of conflicting information. If someone can give me the latest and greatest, I would be most appreciative.

Thanks!
-Charles

also, call to remove wix from your account. then you can be guaranteed no excess charges for data.

if the rep know what they are doing when you signed up, this shouldnt have been provisioned with an unlimited data plan (but i have yet to see any competent csr....so ymmv)

You will Not be charged for any data except they WILL charge for Text Messaging. the bill will be a big surprise when it comes. They dont consider text messages as part of the unlimited data plan.

Hey man if you don't need the BES, then I would recommend you call them and have yourself switched to blackberry INTERNET service which cost 29.00, I switch this week there is not difference in service just you can be put on a blackberry enterprise server.

I was bit confused about Cingular's new BB Plan as well.

They have 2 separate categories for BB Plan: BB Data Access and BB Connect. Both categories offer unlimited plan so I had the CSR add teh BB Data Access Unlimited Plan. I hope I added the right one.

Thanks all..

Complete and notal noob to BB World.

When you call ask to be transfered to the blackberry support section then tell them you want the Blackberry Internet Server plan. And not the blackberry enterprise server. The difference is that one is more for a corporate email function, if you company doesn't have bes then you don't need it.. The BIS is 29.99 and the BES is 44.99....
