My search on this topic found some threads that specifically addressed retaining the data plan on a non BB phone when moving the SIM back and forth....however I am not interested in that.

Rather, I want to take my 8700c SIM and put it into a spare Nokia 6102i to use on the weekend (especially my bike ride) and then put it back.

So I don't care if I don't have internet access on the Nokia...any problems w/ this? Yes, both phones are for Cingular.

You should not have any problems at all.

That's why the invented SIM cards so you can go back and forth between phones.

yeah, I know...have been using it this way for years, but never w/ a data plan.....
