There appears to be a problem with a "small number of hosted mailboxes" on RIM server. I've just got off the phone with T-Mobile (US) and RIM and was told that RIM is working on the problem with no ETA.
I'm currently roaming in UK, but it's not related as far as I know.
The problem started on Saturday, fixed itself late Saturday (GMT), and then started again on Sunday and continues until now (Monday evening).
I have 2 email accounts configured on BIS. 99% of my email are going through account 1, which queue got stuck on the RIM server according to RIM . The service book for this account can't be re-downloaded after I deleted it following tech's request. The second account works fine - service book comes through.
I'm able to send emals from both accounts, PIN messaging works, Internet browsing works as well.
If you are having similar symptomps - please leave a comment. There was an earlier thread titled National Outage.. It's probably related, however it just affects small amount of users on BIS. Not sure if other providers are affected or just T-Mobile.
Despite paying $30 for the regular plan and $20 for roaming access, I was able to get just $5 credit..:(
