Exclamation trouble with keyboard

Please Login to Remove!

i have had my 7230 new for about 4 days now. Worked fine till now it w,s,z,0 are being pressed on thier own some how which keeps opening my search app and then types zwsw etc over and over again. any ideas or experiences with this. do you think that something has gotten down in the keyboard. your advice is appreciated.

I have the same trouble tooxxx65292;my handheld is 7100x. even reinstall the firmware can't save the problem.

Me too. Except this is my THIRD 7230 with the same problem! I can't find anyone else with a problem (or solution). You two are the first to mention this problem.

You reboot - one of three things happens.

1. Keyboard/Roller don't work.
2. Keyboard/Roller work, but characters: mainly q, a, and z appear on display and DTMF signal starts going off while on a call.
3. Roller works, but no keyboard.

All three units have done this.

What is it? Maybe we'll never know, but my love for the Blackberry diminishes by the minute.
