anyone know how to change the "my phone number" display on a BB? mine shows the wrong number. Cingular has had me on hold for 1 1/2 hrs...........

Make a receive a few phone calls (if you haven't already). If that doesn't work, remove the battery and SIM card for a few seconds, the put it all back together and let it boot up.

Cingular has to make sure that its right in their system. After that, try calling yourself from the BlackBerry. I have had a few that corrected themselves after calling itself.

When I ported my Alltel phone number to CIngular, the old Cingular number would always display on the phone app.
I tried the Change Number option, and it would not allow me to change it.
I eventually had to live with it until I bought a new BB.
