Hi guys,
I wonder how can I add smilies when I write a message on my blacberry 8700?? Is it possible?

Can't be done. BlackBerry messages are text only. You and your friends will have to learn to read the shorthand!

You could setup autotext for this, I've done that myself. Its more of a pain to find the characters for each smiley each time. Just use whatever type of system that would work best for you...example would be 'hf' for , 'hw' for , k for :-* and so on.

The exception is in Blackberry Messenger. Pushing the symbol key twice brings up a page of smiley icons that you can insert.
