Hi, I've had a similar problem as this guy (se link below), but the difference being that I left the company with my own BB 7290 but now using BIS 2 with Cingular, and the handheld is not setup right. Problems are:

*BES IT Security Policy is still showing up
*Services reads "***no services***"
*Compose and BlackBerry Broswer applications are not on the desktop

Thanks

1. Once an IT policy is applied to the BB, it is impossible to remove it. You need to apply a blank policy to remove any restrictions, however, a security wipe will remove some restrictions such as accepting service books for BIS/BIBS.

2. Your services section reads no services because you are not on a BES. If you are on BIS nothing will be displayed here.

3. Compose was an icon in 4.0 handheld software which was removed in 4.1 handheld software. Have you upgraded your software recently? It is also possible that the icon is hidden.

The BlackBerry Browser icon only appears when your on a BES. You should be able to use Internet Browser which has the same functionality.
