Default Data Coverage with Sprint

Please Login to Remove!

I am seriously considering moving to Sprint for my Blackberry service, and get off IDEN. My question is similar to another thread close to this one. How do you guys rate the Sprint coverage in your respective areas. I know that obviously this answer will vary depending on where people are, but I am just curious how many times you get NO (or very low) signal, as opposed to others you know with different phones.

Depends on where you are and/or where you travel. Here in Houston, excellent coverage with Sprint, Verizon, T-Mobile, Cingular and Nextel for both data and voice.

Default It's OK

I'm about 50 miles from UF, and my coverage is OK. I have two bars near major highways...sometimes 4 in G' my house, coverages ranges from nada to 2 bars...and I'm out in the boonies.

The only way you will get a feel for it is to try the device out. Call Sprint and find out what their Buyer's remorse policy is like. Maybe it would be worth it to pick up a Sprint BB and use it for a week to find out what kind of coverage you will experience in the areas in which you work and travel. If it's not great you should be able to return the device and revert to your previous plan within a reasonable amount of time.
