Default Blackberry Log Parser

Is there a utility out there that can parse through the blackberry logs and give reports on errors? If not, is there any documentation explaning the syntax of the blackberry logs? I can make sense of some of it but I'm looking for a specific error that occurred on a certain date. When looking through the logs on that date I see events but I can't make sense of them.
Thanks in advance,
-Ed
