Hello,

Verizon offers a free One Megabite Data plan. With this plan does anyone know a way I can connect to a different server or IP of sorts and use more than 1MB without being charged the ridiculous 20$ per mb overage charge?

I really want to access the net, but can not afford the 50$ added plan. My plan for the phone is at 40 and would give me a grand total of 90$ per month.

I really need help with this as I can not use the FAQ because it seems the Verizon 7250 does not have the TCP option.

In order to use a BlackBerry for anything beyond voice and text messaging, you must have a BlackBerry Data Plan. Without a BlackBerry Data Plan you will not be able to get any data. No IP hacks or settings can help you.

yup, Just like NJBlackberry stated. without a data plan 44.99 with verizon your aint going to get any luck.

The settings don't matter, you are still using a carrier's network & its resources no matter what settings you have in your device.

If i get the free dataplan can I change anything to not use verizon?

The reason I am confused is because with my old basic phones I would change the wap address and it wouldn't go through verizon.

You can't run data through anyone else except BB's data network and you need to pay to access that network.

You are still trying to get around the fact that for your BB to have ANY data services, you GOT to have a data plan from Blackberry. Without, you have a phone and PDA only, no wireless data services.
