I agree with earth's assessment. Typically when I have trouble with a BlackBerry not syncing email properly, it's a problem with the state database. Sometimes a simple reactivation corrects the problems. However, sometimes I find myself wiping the handheld, deleting the user from BES (be sure to delete the users old state database at this point), re-adding the user to BES (this creates a new state database), then reactivating.
