Arrow Are your e-mails DELAYED????

Please Login to Remove!

Hey everyone. I'm a blackberry user just like you who's been having delays receiving my e-mails since I 'mistakenly' upgraded to 2.0. My e-mails have been coming in anywhere from 30 minutes to 5 hours late depending on the time of day. Usually peak hours is when it's at its worst. I've had numerous phone calls with Cingular and RIM, and they keep insisting that they will absolutely not downgrade me to 1.8, and not only that, but there is NO WAY for them to do it even if they wanted to. I sort of believe them, but it didn't matter if they were telling the truth, because they said that is their policy and there's nothing to talk about. They just want me to open a ticket with RIM and we all know how that goes....

I'm proud to say that yesterday I found a way to convert back to 1.8. It is not supported by any carrier, or by RIM. Literally seconds after I downgraded, my e-mails started flying in immediately after the sender sent them. Needless to say, I was very happy.

This process is not something that I am willing to disclose publicly, and it takes time to get it done. I am willing to offer my services and do it for you people who need it, for a small fee. For more info, you can e-mail me at [email address].

This process of downgrading to 1.8 from 2.0 has been confirmed to work with Cingular, Verizon, Nextel and Sprint. It DOES NOT work with T-Mobile, as they are exclusively 2.0. I don't know if it works on any other networks, but I imagine it does, unless that network is a division of T-Mobile.

Feel free to contact me with any questions at the special e-mail address I set up for this service - [email address] - bbdowngrade @ gmail . com

I guarantee to get your blackberry down to version 1.8 or your money back!

I am with T-Mobile, and I actually get my e-mails to my 7100t before they are visible in Outlook.

For many users it's not a problem. I guess it might depend on what server in RIM your blackberry is registered on, or in what part of the country you are in. Also, some days it's good, and some days it's horrible. Time of day affects it as well.

Users who are being affected by this problem know exactly what I am talking about

Thank god! My e-mail delay problems are gone! I contacted the guy who started this thread (bbdowngrade@gmail.com) and within 20 minutes I was back on a 1.8 account. I was suffering with this problem for the last 3 weeks, but now, finally, everything is working ok. I waited until now to post cuz now I'm getting many e-mails since it's during work hours.

If you are having this problem and don't know what to do, I suggest you speak to him. He's very prompt with his responses, and the main thing is....it actually works!

You know what, right when I saw that post I knew that people would think that I signed up another account to write that. But what can I do? When I was speaking with Tod on the phone he told me he was browsing the forums for the last few weeks to try to fix the problem and no one had an answer. He told me after I fixed it for him that he would go post and let everyone know that it worked, so I'm happy.

Either way, you're right. Forums are for helping users. But this is not something that I can disclose to anyone, and also it takes time to do it, and time is worth money. So for all of you who are having problems getting their e-mails late and are willing to live with that, fine! But for those of you who want to do something about it, you can contact me and I'll help you.
