Question Failed "proxy" function on 7520

Our executives use the 7520 (running V4.0.2.37) for Microsoft outlook (Version 2003) access via our BES (BES for exchange V4.0.4) server. When they themselves enter contacts in their outlook, the contact info synchs just fine to their 7520 Address book. However, when their assistants who have access to their contacts via microsoft outlook(Outlook 2003) enter or modify contact information in outlook, the update does not ever synch to the 7520. The email server is running Exchange 2003.

We upgraded one of our executives device to the Blackberry 8700c and haven't changed any other settings on the BES server, executives outlook or the assistant's outlook and the contacts now synch up just fine. This to me tells me that there is an issue with the 7520's or their software. Has anyone else had this issue-I can't believe this is so unique? Has anyone resolved this issue using the 7520's? If so, would you please share how it was resolved? Blackberry and our carrier (Nextel) can't help us.
