Default Crazy Request From a Director

Please Login to Remove!

Hey,
I had a director ask me if we could have one mailbox setup on two blackberries. I told him it's not possbile, but his reasoning is that they want to move people from one blackberry and carrier to another blackberry and carrier. I don't know of any way and even tried to add myself twice on the bes server and it didn't work, if they really wanted too would we have to setup a second bes server?

Can't do it. Tell him to get a degree in IT if he wants to do the job

Okay...I just want to clarify...

Your director wants an employee to switch back and forth from one blackberry/network to another one constantly? Or just a final switch. I am going to assume it is constantly from what your asking (I guess with traveling and roaming and such)

With BES this may be possible...depending on how it is set up I suppose?
Usually your email gets pushed to your blackberry and that is that. Perhaps in order for that to work it would need to be taken off one BES account and put on the other when needed?

I am not exactly sure how that would all work.

Wirelessly posted (8700c: BlackBerry8700/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102)

Nope, 1 exchange/bes account per BB

You are correct. One account to one BlackBerry. Maybe I don't understand your directors reasoning, but just activate the new user on the other BlackBerry and cancel the old one.
