I am using BES version 3.6.3.8 and i am having trouble removing a user account.

Basically ther AD account and associated mailbox were deleted and the BB account was left disabled whilst this happened. Now the user has a red cross through it and cannot be removed. When trying to add the new account in it works fine but i cannot remove the entry for the same person that used to work. Thus i now have two entries.

i have tried deleting the account but it says "Failed to access mailbox for this user"

Is there a good way of removing this entry?

I found out why it doesn't work with my build...... because of a sodding service pack level.

Apprently my build 3.6.3.8 is service pack 3 for 3.6, service pack 4 addresses this issue where the AD account is removed before bes account and leaves an orphaned object in the directory somewhere. This morning i applied sp7 giving build 3.6.7.12 and when deleting the mailbox manually as before it gives a dirreferent message from "unable to access mailbox for this user" rather it states that there was a connectivity issue and items might not have been removed from the user mailbox. After this it deletes the entry.

I have to say that i scoured the web for this issue with a flea comb and found 3 or 4 posts of people with the same problem, none of the posts had replies. I'll try and update them as best i can and hope that other people are able to find a solution quiker than i was! The most response i had on this issue beleive it or not was from "TekTips" and not the "BlackberryForums" web site!!!!
