Default o2(UK) BIS & attachments

Please Login to Remove!

Hi everyone,

I'm currently using a 7230 over o2(UK) Internet Mail (BIS) for personal use with a 5MB per month data allowance - chargeable thereafter. Am a little worried about what might happen if I get sent an email with a large attachment (10MB say). As soon as it gets pushed to my BB do I eat into my 5MB allowance? Or is it only when I try to open the attachment on my handheld?

Many thanks from a newbie.

i bleive it would only be a data charge when you download/open the attachment

if your really worried jsut set the main filter on your BIS site to forward email as header only

then if you want to "view more" you can
