My name is Paul - I'm the Lead Developer of pinppl.com.
pinppl.com is an interesting new Web service for BlackBerry users. It's a social networking site, for those of you who like to share your PIN's, and meet new people through your BB.
You can create a profile, and share it with your BB friends. pinppl.com is fully compatible with the BlackBerry, so you can update your profile and find new people to talk to when you're out and about.
You can even keep it as a blog, and upload a photo. (Photo uploading will require the use of a computer, though.)
Tag your profile, to let people find you, and check out tags that other people have used, and find others with similar interests.
We're in the final stages of development, and will be opening up pinppl.com to beta testers in as soon as a few days time.
If you'd like to try out this unique new service, send me a PIN message, and when we launch, you'll be PIN'd your password. Your help would be much appreciated - tell us how we can improve the service for final release.
Pinstack is a discussion board, is it not? pinppl is a profile hosting service - it is very lightweight, and easy to use - and enables BB users to easily search for like-minded people.
It's like a mini-MySpace, but for your BlackBerry.
i'll stick to myspace then, don't need more access to that than i already have, adding it to my blackberry would just mean that the 30 mins a day im not in my blackberry now because of myspace, would just redirect me back to my blackberry.
